In the event that the game’s venue is changed, the game is cancelled, or the game is rescheduled, the respective Entry Period connected to that Event may be rescheduled or cancelled at the sole discretion of Sponsor.

5. Prizes: 1 Grand Prize for each Entry Period (34 total): One (1) Grand Prize Winner will receive one (1) Twenty-Five Dollar ($25.00) Chevron Gift Certificate. Approximate retail value of the Grand Prize is Twenty-Five Dollars ($25.00).  Total approximate retail value of all prizes is Eight Hundred and Fifty Dollars ($850.00).  Prizes are non-transferable and no cash redemption or prize substitution is allowed.

6. Odds of Winning: Odds of selecting the correct winning car during each Entry Period are 1:3.  Once the winning car has been announced, the odds of winning the Grand Prize depend on the number of eligible entries received that selected the winning car during each respective Entry Period.

7. How to Enter: NO PURCHASE NECESSARY TO ENTER.  Participants may enter one (1) of the two (2) following ways:

1) In-Game - During each of the Entry Periods, participants attending the corresponding game outlined in Section 4 of these Official Rules may download the free Chevron with Techron Station Finder mobile app (“App”) onto a data-enabled smartphone.  After the App is installed, open the App and click on the Chevron Cars Challenge tab.  Once in the Chevron Cars Challenge, the App will ask for permission to access the participant’s location via the GPS service on their mobile device to determine which venue they are in and which scheduled game they are attending.  After the App has verified the participant’s location, the participant may enter the Challenge for the current Entry Period by a) selecting the car that he/she thinks will win the race for that Entry Period; b) entering their email address; and c) clicking on the “Start Your Engine” button.  Participants may be charged for all data used according to the terms of his/her data-rate plan with his/her wireless provider.  Entries must be received before the end time as outlined for that specific Entry Period in Section 4 of these Official Rules. Participants entering via the App must have a data-enabled mobile device and digital service. Data usage is not available in all areas.

2) Out-of-Game - During each of the Entry Periods, participants may visit chevronwithtechron.com/chevron-cars-challenge (“URL”) and follow the instructions to enter the Challenge.  At this URL, participants can find the unique four (4) digit code for each scheduled game outlined in Section 4 of these Official Rules and the toll-free telephone number of 1-877-376-9374.  In order to enter the Challenge, participants must call the toll-free telephone number and follow the voice prompts to a) verify that they are at least seventeen (17) years of age; b) verify their telephone numbers for contact if they win; c) enter the corresponding four (4) digit code for the Entry Period; and d) select the car they think will win the race.  Once participants receive confirmation, they have been entered into the Challenge for that particular Entry Period.  By verifying their phone numbers, participants consent to being contacted if they are selected as a winner.  Entries must be received before the end time as outlined for that specific Entry Period in Section 4 of these Official Rules.  If participants access the URL via their mobile device, they may be charged for all data used according to the terms of their data-rate plan with their wireless provider.  Participants entering via the URL on their mobile device must have a data enabled mobile device and digital service. Data usage is not available in all areas.

8. Limit of One Entry per Person per Entry Period: Each participant may enter once during each of the thirty-six (36) Entry Periods regardless of method of entry. Any attempt by any participant to obtain more than the stated number of entries by using multiple/different identities or any other methods will void that participant's entries and that participant may be disqualified.

9. Random Drawing: One (1) random drawing will be conducted for each Entry Period to select one (1) Grand Prize Winner from among all eligible entries received for the applicable drawing that have chosen the correct winning car for the respective Entry Period. The random drawing will be conducted on or about the next business day following each Entry Period by the Administrator whose decisions are final, binding and conclusive in all matters relating to the Challenge. All drawings will be conducted at a location to be determined by the Administrator. Non-winning entries from each Entry Period will not carry over to subsequent Entry Periods.  The GRAND PRIZE WINNERS must be able to accept the Grand Prize as outlined in these Official Rules. Limit of one Grand Prize per person, per Entry Period.

10. ALL POTENTIAL WINNERS ARE SUBJECT TO VERIFICATION AND COMPLIANCE WITH THE PROCEDURES CONTAINED IN THESE OFFICIAL RULES, AND THESE OFFICIAL RULES THEMSELVES, BY SPONSOR AND/OR ADMINISTRATOR. AN ENTRANT IS NOT A WINNER OF ANY PRIZE, UNLESS AND UNTIL ENTRANT'S ELIGIBILITY HAS BEEN VERIFIED AND ENTRANT HAS BEEN NOTIFIED THAT THE VERIFICATION PROCESS IS COMPLETE AND THE ENTRANT HAS CLAIMED HIS/HER PRIZE. SPONSOR WILL NOT ACCEPT SCREEN SHOTS OR OTHER EVIDENCE OF ENTRY IN LIEU OF ITS VALIDATION PROCESS. ANY ENTRY THAT OCCURS AFTER THE SYSTEM HAS FAILED FOR ANY REASON IS DEEMED A DEFECTIVE ENTRY AND IS VOID AND WILL NOT BE DEEMED AN ACCEPTABLE ENTRY.

11. Verification of Winners: All entrants must comply with all terms and conditions of these Official Rules and winning is contingent upon fulfilling all requirements of these Official Rules. The potential Grand Prize Winners will be notified by email or telephone (or some combination of these methods) after the date of the random drawing(s). If any potential Grand Prize Winner cannot be contacted within four (4) business days, the Grand Prize Winner will forfeit the prize. In the event that a potential winner is disqualified for any reason, Sponsor may, in its sole discretion award the prize to an alternate winner by random drawing from among all remaining eligible entries and the same verification procedure described herein will apply to the subsequent winner. Administrator will conduct as many alternate drawings as necessary to award all prizes.

12. Release: Grand Prize Winners agree to release and hold harmless the Challenge Entities and their respective subsidiaries, affiliates, suppliers, distributors, advertising/promotion agencies and each of their respective parent companies and each such company's officers, directors, employees and agents (collectively, the "Released Parties") from and against any claim or cause of action, including, but not limited to, any tax claim, personal injury, death, or damage to or loss of property, arising out of participation in the Challenge or receipt or use or misuse of any prize.

13. Publicity: Except where prohibited, participation in the Challenge constitutes winner's consent to Sponsor's and its agents' unqualified and unconditional use of any winner's name, likeness, photograph, voice, opinions and/or hometown and state for promotional purposes in any media, worldwide, without further payment or consideration.

14. General Conditions: Sponsor reserves the right to cancel, suspend and/or modify these Official Rules, the Challenge, or any part of it, if any fraud, technical failures or any other factor beyond Sponsor's reasonable control impairs the integrity or proper functioning of the Challenge, as determined by Sponsor and/or Administrator in their sole discretion. Sponsor and/or Administrator reserve the right in their sole discretion to disqualify any individual they find to be tampering with the entry process or the operation of the Challenge or to be acting in violation of these Official Rules or any other promotion or in an unsportsmanlike or disruptive manner. Any attempt by any person to deliberately undermine the legitimate operation of the Challenge may be a violation of criminal and civil law, and, should such an attempt be made, Sponsor reserves the right to seek damages from any such person to the fullest extent permitted by law. Sponsor's failure to enforce any term of these Official Rules shall not constitute a waiver of that provision.

15. Limitations of Liability: The Released Parties are not responsible for: (1) any incorrect or inaccurate information; (2) unauthorized human intervention in any part of the entry process or the Challenge; (3) technical or human error that may occur in the administration of the Challenge or the processing of entries; or (4) any injury or damage to persons or property that may be caused, directly or indirectly, in whole or in part, from entrant's participation in the Challenge or receipt or use or misuse of any prize. If for any reason an entrant's entry is confirmed to have been erroneously lost, or otherwise destroyed or corrupted, entrant's sole remedy is another entry in the Challenge, provided that the entrant can enter prior to the expiration of the Promotion Period.  If it is not possible to award a submission of another entry due to discontinuance of the Challenge, or any part of it, for any reason, Sponsor, at its discretion, may elect to hold a random drawing from among all eligible entries received up to the date prior to the discontinuance or ending of the Challenge for any or all of the prizes offered herein. No more than the stated number of prizes will be awarded. In the event that production, technical, seeding, programming or any other reasons cause more than the stated number of prizes as set forth in these Official Rules to be available and/or claimed Sponsor reserves the right to award only the stated number of prizes by a random drawing among all legitimate, unawarded, eligible prize claims. By participating in this Challenge, entrants hereby agree to release and hold Sponsor and Administrator harmless from and against all losses, damages, liabilities, claims, actions, proceedings, or judgments arising out of or relating to entrant's entry or participation in this Challenge, use or misuse of any prizes awarded hereunder or any use of the winner’s name, likeness, photograph, voice, opinions and/or hometown and state.
